NZWM KITSET GABIONS

Our unique in-house designed kitset/flatpack gabions have been especially constructed to ensure the gabions are true and square when they are installed.

By combining sides and top or bottom panels as one unit, the time taken to assemble the units and the degree of precision required is minimised. Also, because our customers decide the size and shape of the gabion, optimal use is made of the site aesthetics and the functional space available.

STRONGER FOR LONGER, MADE IN NEW ZEALAND

NZ Wire and Mesh specialises in the manufacture of high-strength, rigid, welded-steel mesh gabions. Ultimately this makes a stronger and longer-lasting product which holds its shape. Aesthetically, unlike twisted-wire mesh it creates a continuous, level horizon.

Clients can also decide the length and the width of the apertures in the mesh according to their preference. We manufacture our own kitset design but we can also supply individual panels or a combination of both.

Our gabions are made from Bezinal®2000 zinc-aluminium-coated wire. For equal coating weights, Bekaert Bezinal® 2000 corrosion resistance is approximately six times better than galvanised wire. In a trial Bekaert Bezinal® 2000 has more than 2000 hours salt spray resistance for full coat wires according to EN-10244-2 class A.
